A signed and numbered handmade 64pp limited edition of 50 copies set in Garamond type on A5 90gsm St Cuthbert's Mill watercolour inkjet paper, quarter bound in faux suede.
The writer Llewelyn Powys (1884-1939) travelled widely but latterly settled in a remote cottage near the Dorset coast. There he wrote these thirteen recollections of his childhood at Montacute and its Somerset environs - with an added excursion to east Africa. Written in his usual lambent prose this illustrated edition has old photographs with some contemporary photographs by Robert Tilleard.
